We are pleased to announce that we are launching a new international network of CPD Ambassadors to support our registered teachers.
Find a CPD Ambassador
See our list of Ambassadors here.
28 teachers from 19 countries have volunteered to act as Ambassadors for the RAD’s CPD scheme, bringing with them insight into exactly what it takes to commit to CPD, alongside so many other commitments.
Although RAD staff around the world are happy to take your calls and answer any questions that you might have, we understand that sometimes it’s good to talk to someone that understands first hand, the pressures of being a dance teacher. We have worked in close consultation with the ambassadors to understand the kind of support and guidance needed in an initiative that has been devised by teachers, for teachers.
How will it work?
The RAD is providing an initial, training session for all ambassadors and each of them will be kept up to date with all the latest news, policy information and course availability.
It will, however, be up to each of them to build a rapport with teachers in their local area or country and do what they can to offer help and support.
You will be able to contact the Ambassadors in the following ways:
- Meet & Greet Member Meetings (organised by Regional & National Managers)
- By email
- By blue jeans (virtual meeting)
What are the benefits?
- Friendly, informal advice from teacher to teacher
- Quick and easy clarification
- Local knowledge & understanding
- Link back to the RAD to inform us of local issues
A Global Network
So far, we have Ambassadors located in Australia, Brazil, Canada, Germany & Switzerland, Greece, Italy, Malta, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, South Africa, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, St. Lucia, United Kingdom and USA. We do, however, want to recruit at least one ambassador in each country and, in bigger countries, one per region or state.
If you would like to volunteer, we would like to hear from you. Simply get in contact and we'll advise you how to get involved.
