RAD teachers shortlisted for the One Dance UK Dance Teaching Awards
Two RAD teachers have been shortlisted in the 'Above and Beyond' category.

Janet Marmot of the Waterside School Of Dance in Southampton, and Pippa Salter of The Academy of Dance on the Isle of Man, are up for an award.

The Above and Beyond category is for '...someone who has done more than just lead dance classes. They will be someone who has particularly supported their students to achieve beyond their expectations or has gone that extra mile to enrich the dance experience, practice, knowledge or opportunities available in dance.'

Shortlisted nominees have been invited to an afternoon tea at the Birmingham Hippodrome on Sunday 16 July, the final day of the National Youth Dance Festival – U.Dance 2017. Winners will receive their trophy along with the honour of receiving the very first One Dance UK Teaching Award in that category.

We wish Janet and Pippa the best of luck!
