Dance studios and meeting room

The Royal Academy of Dance offers many multi-purpose spaces available for external hire at competitive rates. Our dance studios have been used for rehearsals, filming, auditions, photo shoots, conferences and classes. However, we also offer classrooms and meeting-room space in case you need somewhere comfortable and big where to host your meeting.
We are open Mon-Fri from 8.00 to 22.00 and Sat-Sun from 8.00 to 18.00, except Bank Holidays.
Our studio facilities offer:
• PRS licence
• stereo sound system
• TV, DVD, VCR
• flip charts / projector screens
• mirrors and barres
• varied floor surfaces – wooden and Harlequin – all sprung
• different sizes and configurations
• one performance space with 140 tiered seating for spectators (Genée studio)
Our site facilities offer:
• changing rooms with showers facilities
• manned reception desk and facilities
• vending machines and cafeteria / waiting area

Discounts
Studio rates may be reduced for block bookings. Members are also entitled to discounted rates.
All bookings are subject to the Terms & Conditions of hire.
20% Block Booking Rate:
This rate is available for a period of hire (more than 5 days in total, consecutive or independently spaced).
*RAD Staff, Members & Friends Rate:
This rate is available for current staff members and fully paid members/friends of the Royal Academy of Dance. This rate is available if the hire includes the participation of the staff member or RAD member/friend and is available if the use of the space is for non performance/event/commercial/class purposes. Hire is not available for an established dance company/organisation.
N.B.
Hire rates or any discounted rates are for the minimum period of 1 hour, thereafter increments of 15 minutes maybe included. The Facilities Department reserves the right to cancel a booking if required.
The Facilities Department reserves the right to alter the conditions of hire and alter the hire rate in exceptional circumstances.
