The Fellow of the Institute of Choreology award can only be awarded to members of the Royal Academy of Dance.
The Royal Academy of Dance President’s award is given to individuals who have for many years dedicated themselves over and above the call of duty to the RAD and/or the Benesh Institute.
Proposers for the FI Chor and the President’s awards must be members of the Academy. Nominations are considered by the Awards Committee, which is chaired by the president of the RAD and made up of members of the Executive Committee. The committee meets once a year during spring time.
