Tutors: Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies


 

The Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies (CBTS) is an international programme of part time study designed to meet the needs of those who wish to become Registered Teachers of the Royal Academy of Dance.

We are currently looking for CBTS tutors responsible for tutoring and assessing up to 21 trainee teachers per module, primarily via distance learning through email or telephone. The role involves tutoring, maintaining records of work undertaken and providing written and oral feedback, supporting students and providing the Faculty of Education with translations as required.

Successful applicants will have a teaching / dance teaching / training qualification, excellent communication skills, up to date subject knowledge and good IT skills.

Tutors are required for all modules, which include Knowing the RAD Syllabus Parts 1 and 2, The Healthy Dancer, Planning For Effective Teaching and The Freelance Dance Teacher.

Applications are welcome from all parts of the world, but are urgently needed immediately from Australia, Canada, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan and UK.
