Ballet Courses
The adult ballet courses are non-syllabus classes and are taught by highly experienced RAD teachers. Classes are run as a course and are not available on a 'pay as you go basis':
General Level
A fun and informative class which is suitable for those with some Ballet experience. This class will allow you to gain a good understanding of ballet steps and enable you to further develop classical ballet technique. This is a mixed level class with an emphasis on enjoyment. This class is structured as a short course and therefore participants will not have to commit to a whole term. The term is divided into a five or six week block and is only available for this level class.
Beginners - Fully booked for spring term
Suitable for those with little or no previous experience in dance, this class
teaches the basics of ballet technique with the view to move up a level after
a year’s course.
We do not enrol new participants for Summer 2010 at this level unless you have
some experience
Improvers
Suitable for those with previous ballet experience and who already have a grasp of ballet technique. This class will enable you to progress to a more advanced class.
Improvers 1
This class is suitable for those with at least two years training in ballet technique and who wish to develop their skills and technique further.
Advanced/Professional
For advanced/professional participants with more than two years training.
