Kerry Rubie - Chairman, Royal Academy of dance

Kerry Rubie became Chairman of the Executive Committee in May 2006. He was previously vice chairman of Leo Burnett Worldwide Inc (LBWW) during 1997-2004. In addition to being a member of the LBWW Board and the Executive Committee, Kerrie also served on the Operations, Finance, Product and Human Resources sub committees. During his time with LBWW he had director responsibilities for global clients which included Diageo, Fiat, Kellogg, Kraft, Philip Morris, Pillsbury and Procter & Gamble.

During the years of 1992-1997 Kerry was Group President of Leo Burnett Worldwide Inc. From 1987-1992, Kerry was Regional Managing Director for

Europe Middle East and Africa (LB EMEA). During the years of 1982-1987 Kerry undertook the role of Regional Managing Director for Asia Pacific (LB A/P).

Outside of business commitments Kerry has also dedicated his time to additional projects which include being a board member of the European Association of Communication Agencies, Chairman for Albert Court Freehold Company and a Reading and Problem Solving Coach for St. Mary’s Primary School.

Kerry is also a Trustee of the Friends of the Elderly and has interests which include ballet, theatre, riding, squash, scuba, sailing and tennis.
