Proxy Voting
As many members will be unable to attend the Annual General Meeting 2009 in
person, however, under the amended Charter and Bye-Laws that were approved
by members last year, and by the Privy Council in December 2008, members are
now able to vote by proxy. Arrangements have been made for all eligible members
to submit their voting instructions using either a postal proxy form which
is being mailed out to all eligible members or an electronic voting facility
that can be accessed at www.votebyinternet.com/rad09
Eligibility to Vote
Under Bye-Law 6 only Full Members (including RAD Registered Teachers) who are
current members of the Academy at the time of voting and are 18 years of age
or older may vote at an Annual General Meeting. Members completing either the
proxy form or voting through the internet are required to sign that they are
voting in accordance with
Bye-Law 6.
Royal Academy of Dance is pleased to announce that on 10 December 2008, her
Majesty The Queen in Council allowed the proposed amendments to the Royal
